Samuel Preston Hostetter, 74, of Lexington, died Monday, April 3, 2006 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Mr. Hostetter was born July 23, 1931 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Randolph Cleveland Hostetter and Lula Belle Hostetter.

Surviving are two brothers: Grover Hostetter of Lexington and Charles G. Hostetter of Fairfield; four sisters: Margaret Bryant of Roanoke; Viola Troxell of Craigsville; Mary Reid of Rockbridge Baths; and Lucy Hostetter of Fairfield; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
