Obituary for Frank Lewis Staton Frank Lewis Staton
Was Taxi Driver For Many Years

Frank Lewis Staton, 76, of Lexington, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at his home.

He was born on February 8, 1930 in Lexington, the son of the late William A. and Hassie Higgins Staton.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the Lexington Moose Lodge.

He was a taxi driver for many years.

His wife, four brothers and four sisters, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his friend and caregiver, Ola Sensabaugh; two stepsons: Dennis and Tommy; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Gladys Nuckols of Lynchburg.

The funeral will be held Monday, May 8, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Lomax Funeral Home.
