Lorene Faye Eakin, of 8 Cashmill Place, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at her home.

She was born August 23, 1951, in Russell County to Tolbert and Alice (Belcher) Harris.

Mrs. Eakin was preceded in death by her mother; her stepmother, June Harris; and two brothers, Cecil Glen and Roy Roger Harris.

Survivors include her father of Honaker; her husband, Bob Eakin; three brothers, James C. Harris of Wetumpka, Ala., Darrell Harris of Honaker and John W. Harris of Newport News; three sisters: Anna Pearl Ball of Brooklet, Ga., Carroll Musick of Charles City and Patricia Helton of Williamsburg; and five stepchildren.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Honaker Funeral Home. Burial was made at the Harris Family Cemetery. The Reynolds Funeral Home, Waynesboro, handled the local arrangements.
