Obituary for Marian Thompson Fox Marian Thompson Fox
Worked With USPS For 24 Years

Marian Thompson Fox, 75, of Natural Bridge, died Monday, May 22, 2006.

Mrs. Fox was born on June 13, 1930 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late John Calvin Thompson, Sr. and Eliza Cash Thompson.

She was a life member of the High Bridge Presbyterian Church.

She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 24 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Calvin Thompson, Jr.

Mrs. Fox is survived by her husband, Curtis L. Fox of Natural Bridge; two children: Connie Fox Kemp and husband Doug of Daleville; Kathy Fox Loomis and husband David of Roanoke; one sister, Betty T. Moody of Roanoke; one brother, Harold L. Thompson of Buchanan; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at the High Bridge Presbyterian Church with Rev. Glenn Coleman officiating.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the High Bridge Presbyterian Church, c/o L. Pennington, Treasurer, 956 Stoner Hollow Road, Natural Bridge Station, Va. 24578 or the Natural Bridge Food Pantry, P. O. Box 374, Natural Bridge Station, Va. 24579.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
