Obituary for Mandy Davis Cash Mandy Davis Cash
Burlington Retiree Was Founding Member Of Spring Valley Baptist Church

Mandy Davis Cash, 90, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Cash was born on April 25, 1916 in Amherst, a daughter of the late Daniel Davis and Dora Sorrels Davis.

She was a founding member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church in Fairfield and was retired from Burlington Industries.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Cash and five sisters: Nina Cash, Alma Hite, Lutie Goad, Daisy Davis and Lula Shephard.

Mrs. Cash is survived by one brother-in-law, Charlie Goad, Sr. of Fairfield; nieces and npehews, Barbara and Bill Cole of New Castle, Bonnie and Brian Lonon of Chesterfield, Charlie and Delores Goad of Lexington, Betty Wray of Colonial Heights, W. D. and Brenda Goad of Lexington, Brenda Travalini and Tom Spillers of Richmond; 12 great nieces and nephews and her loving caregivers, Tammy Potter, Donna Bright, Kathleen Robinson, Pat Eldridge and Naomi Nuckols.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Spring Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Philip Mace officiating. Burial will follow in the Timber Ridge ARP Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
