Obituary for Kelly Leo Irvine Kelly Leo Irvine
He Served In The Marine Corps During The Cuban Missile Crisis

Kelly Leo Irvine, 63, of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Lexington, died of lung disease on May 15, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

He was born on April 24, 1943 in Lexington.

Mr. Irvine owned Kelly's Weld-Em-Up shop in Brooklyn for 33 years. He was a private 1st class in the Marine Corps during the Cuban Missile Crisis, serving from 1960-1964, and was a member of the Baltimore Attachment of the Marine Corps League.

Mr. Irvine enjoyed gardening, cooking, hunting, gambling, walking and being patriotic. He occasionally volunteered with Meals On Wheels.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nannie and Leo Irvine.

Survivors include his wife, Ella F. Irvine; one daughter, Melissa Hallenback of Salt Lake City, UT; four brothers, Keith, Pat and Nelson Irvine, all of Lexington, and Bud Irvine of Charlestown, WV; two sisters, Eva Ramsey and Evalina Hughes, both of Lexington; and one grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 19, 2006 at Singleton Funeral Home. Interment was in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD.
