Obituary for Irene Watkins Foster Irene (Susie) Watkins Foster

Was N.B. Faith Baptist Church Member

Irene (Susie) Watkins Foster, 66, of Natural Bridge Station, died Friday, June 23, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Foster was born on January 21, 1940 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Adam Watkins and Elsie Campbell Watkins.

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Natural Bridge Station and was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Nelson (Kewpie) Foster and one son, Andrew Nelson (Junior) Foster.

Mrs. Foster is survived by two daughters: Lisa F. Ruggerio and fiance, Mickey Cochrane of Glasgow and Laura F. Frazier and special son, Ken Camper of Buchanan; two sisters: Julia Layman of Buchanan and Alice Jenkins and husband Cecil; four brothers: Frank Watkins and wife, Jewel; Clifford Watkins and wife, Martha; Sheridan Watkins and wife, Audrey; and Calvin Watkins and wife, Dorothy, all of Natural Bridge Station; four grandchildren: Andrea and Jonathan Kelly, Faith Ruggerio and Heather Ruggerio; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2006 in the Glasgow Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. The ffamily suggests memorial contributionss be made to the Glasgow Lifesaving and First Aid Crew, P. O. Box 421, Glasgow, VA 24555. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
