Obituary for Lucille Johnson Bryant Lucille Bryant
Was Active Member Of The Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church

Lucille Johnson Bryant, 76, of Lexington, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 3, 2006 at her home.

Mrs. Bryant was born on August 7, 1929 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Henry Elisha Johnson and Lula Terry Johnson.

She was a very active member of the Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Eugene Bryant and one son, Richard Bryant.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by four children: Helen Higgins and husband Jerry, Betty McLain and husband Henry, Linda Smith and husband Billy, and Bill Bryant and wife Sandy, all of Lexington; three sisters: Dorothy J. Bryant of Lexington and Nancy Swoope, Irma Brown, both of Clifton Forge; four brothers: Junior Johnson of Ohio, Ray Johnson, Ralph Johnson and Fred Johnson, all of Clifton Forge; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vance Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
