Romelda Plogger Roberts, 63, of Lexington, died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the home of her daughter in Charlotte, NC.

She was born April 30, 1943 in Rockbridge County, daughter of the late Robert Anderson Plogger and Irene Making Plogger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Roberts.

She is survived by her children, Angela Crowell of Charlotte, NC, George Ashby Roberts of Glasgow, Daniel Blaine Roberts of Lexington, Brooke Manuel Roberts of Lexington and Elmer Roberts, II of Pembroke, FL; fourteen grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Rose Marie Fix of Glasgow and Patricia Southers of Glasgow; brothers, Paul Plogger of Glasgow and Bobby Plogger of Missouri.

The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 from the graveside in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Foster officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by the Lomax Funeral Home, Buena Vista.
