Christine Horn Roberts, 76, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Roberts was born December 31, 1929, a daughter of the late Charles Ashby Horn and Mary Virginia Riley Horn.

She retired after 44 years with Burlington Industries.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin L. Roberts of Buena Vista; a daughter, Susan R. Bennington and husband, George of Lexington; a brother, Ricie Horn of Raphine; a special grandson, Joshua L. Bennington of Lexington; and a special nephew, James Horne of Natural Bridge.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burail will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 25 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Crematory Service, Buena Vista.
