Jessie Austin Watts, 93, of Natural Bridge Station, died Thursday, August 24, 2006 in the Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Lexington.

Mrs. Watts was born November 8, 1912 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late William Franklin Austin and Sally turner Austin.

She was the last surviving member of her parent's family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David B. Watts.

She is survived by a daughter, Doris W. Irby of Natural Bridge Station; grandchildren: Linda Irby of Natural Bridge; Charles Irby and his wife, Joanna; and Angela Rader and her husband, Danny of Natural Bridge Station; great grandchildren: Zane Irby, Laura Righter, and Austin Irby; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Conald Fogus, Rev. Justin Thomas, Rev. Terry Barger and Rev. Charles O'Roak officiating.

Burial will follow in the Glasgow Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Crematory Service, Buena Vista.
