Joyce Elizabeth "Chuck" Snyder, 62, of Fairfield, died October 2, 2006.

She was born December 15, 1943 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Curby Elwood Snyder and Estelle Taylor Snyder.

She was a member of the Marlbrook Baptist Church.

Miss Snyder is survived by a sister, Betty S. Ralston of Fairfield; and two nieces: Margaret and Diane Ralston.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gib Hale and Danny Pritchett officiating.

There will be no public viewing or visitation.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
