Ruth Magdalene Shaw, 75, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, October 8, 2006.

She was born in Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Charles A. Shaw and Mary Staton Shaw.

Besides her parents, Miss Shaw was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by a sister, Estelle Fitzgerald of Buena Vista, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Chapel with Rev. Wayne Dickson and Rev. Luther Witt officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista.
