Bob Boorman, of Iona Station, Ontario, died suddenly at his home on Saturday, October 14, 2006.

He was the dearly loved husband of Maureen (Painter) Boorman and loving father and friend to his son Scott (Rachel), and Kim Boyle (Darrin). He was the dearly loved papa to Kaylah, Teagan and Ashton of London, Ontario and uncle to Tom of Toronto. He was the beloved brother of Phyllis McEvoy of Stoney Creek, Thelma Powell (Dave), and Jack Boorman (Shirley), all of London.

He leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.

Bob so dearly enjoyed his retirement in Iona Station; he felt he had truly "come home" when he settled on "the line" silver clay. The wonderful people who live here truly brought him happiness.

Mourning his passing is his "best friend", his dog Murphy.

Bob was a retired employee of T.H. &B and C.P.R. He worked his last few years in Calgary.

He leaves behind many wonderful friends in Calgary and Buena Vista, Virginia.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, Ontario, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 1 p.m.
