Susie Virginia Breedlove Emore, 90, of Lexington died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at her residence.
Born March 26, 1916 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Breedlove. Her husband of 69 years, Hamilton "Ham" Lee Emore and her son, Melvin Lee "Jigs" Emore, preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Robert Lee Emore of Lexington.
A graveside service will be Monday, November 13, 2006, 11:00 a.m., at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with Rev. Gib Hale officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon until 5 p.m. Sunday at the Lomax Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice. Lomax Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
