Obituary for Leroy Austin Dishman Leroy Austin Dishman
Longtime Reeves Employee, Worked At Wal-Mart For 10 Years

Leroy Austin Dishman, 76, of Buena Vista, entered Heaven on Sunday, December 10, 2006.

He was born August 16, 1930 in Crossville, Tennessee.

He was the son of the late Henry S. Dishman and Bertha Crabtree Dishman.

He served in the Army National Guard - Sergeant COD 230th Reconnaissance Battalion in Tennessee. He worked for 37 years at Reeves Brothers until its closing. He was currently employed at Wal-Mart in Lexington with 10 years of service. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who met him in the paint department.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie McNally Dishman.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories are his wife and friend, Carolyn Staton Dishman; children: Leroy Dishman and Helena of Heritag, TN: Ed Dishman of Hardy, VA; Dennis Staton, Barbie Martin and Anita Tomlinson of Buena Vista; grandchildren: Stephanie, April, Lucas, Nathan, Mindy, Josh, Kelsi, Lisa, Scott & Charlie; great grandchildren: Makenna, Mason and Mandy; sisters: Leta Tollett of Crossville, TN: Odel Stoner of Elyria, OH; and Lera Dover of Canton, OH; many nieces and nephews; a special sister-in-law, Lois Craig and Kenneth of Nashville, TN: brother-in-law, James McNally and Carol of Niles, OH; also, the entire Wal-Mart family that thought so highly of.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Chapel with Rev. Jessie Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista.
