Marvin Douglas (Doug) Weikle, age 63, of Caldwell, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Raleigh General Hospital.

Born on July 22, 1962, in Union, WV, Doug was the beloved son of the late Marvin Byrd and Martha Alice Vance Weikle.

Doug dedicated much of his life to working in construction, where he was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship.

He was also a Christian, guided by his faith throughout his life.

Doug was preceded in death by his loving parents; his wife, Betsy Weikle; and his brother-in-law, Doug White.

He is survived by his children: Leo Weikle (Jerilyn), Cody Weikle (Ashley), Tamara Simmons (Terry), and Maggie Adwell (James), all of whom carry forward his legacy of love and resilience. Doug also leaves behind his devoted sisters: Diane Harmon, Lisa White, and Mary Weikle; twelve cherished grandchildren; and two nephews, Shawn White (Samantha), and Roger Harmon.

Doug's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Baker officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, Monday.
