Connie Edward Clark, 61 of Buena Vista died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 in the Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center.

He was born Nov. 7, 1945 in Rockbridge County, son of the late Arnie Harrison and Odel Elizabeth Dunn Clark.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his daughter, Betty Clark of Lynchburg; sons, Connie Clark, Jr. of Lynchburg and Michael Clark of Mt. Jackson; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Beavers of Monroe, Mary Jane Marcum of Staunton, Martha Ann Cash of Staunton and Nancy Coleman of Buena Vista; brothers, Ronnie Clark of Madison Heights, Donnie Clark of Buena Vista and Roger Lee Clark of Vesuvius.

His brother, Lonnie F. Clark preceded him in death. The funeral service will be 7: 30 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grant Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
