Edward Junior Moore, 69, of Lexington, died Sunday, January 14, 2007.

He was born February 10, 1937 in Lowville, New York, a son of the alte Edward Owen Moore and Beatrice Larock Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Janice R. Moore; children: Steven Moore and Evelyn Hoose, Thad Moore, Jacqueline Ogden and Jamie Randall; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Olan Moore.

He was a local craftsman and a longstanding member of his congregation, as well as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Lexington Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, North Congregaton with Randolph Hare officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingdom Hall, 2063 N. Lee Highway, Lexington, Virginia 24450.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
