Guy Houston "Sonny" Martin, Jr., 66, of Lexington, died Wednesday, January 24, 2007.

He was born August 14, 1940 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Guy Houston Martin, Sr. and Della Chapman Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Martin; children: David Houston Martin, Michael Ward Martin and Terry Lynn Martin, all of Lexington; sisters: Dora Mullins of Midlothian, Mary Martin of Roanoke, Martha Patterson and Dorothy "Dot" Newell, both of Lexington.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 in the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Short officiating. Burial followed in the Collierstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Friday, January 26, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
