Bertha Settles Flint, 101, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born April 7, 1905 in Hardy, Virginia, a daughter of the late Pete Settles and Julia Patsell Settles.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Pendelton Flint; three brothers: Cager Settles, Lewis Settles, and Elmer Settles; four sisters: Florence Richardson, Genny Crawley, Lillie Horne, and Ella Keith; a son, Russell Flint and a grandson.

She is survived by three great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Natural Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
