Obituary for Earl Stanley Watkins Earl Stanley Watkins
Worked With Burlington Industries For 33 Years

Earl Stanley Watkins, 74, of Natural Bridge Station, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

He was born April 8, 1932 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late John Harvey Watkins and Glennie Mac Johnson Watkins.

Mr. Watkins was a member of the Prophecy of God Church, Glasgow, Virginia, and was retired from Burlington Industries after 33 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by four children: Gary L. Watkins of Buena Vista; Donald Ray Watkins of Natural Bridge Station; Ronald Earl Watkins of Vinton; and Sandra Kay Dameron of Natural Bridge; two brothers: Roy Watkins and Wilmer Watkins, both of Natural Bridge Station; a sister, Rose Breeden of Natural Bridge Station; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lewis McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
