For many years she owned and operated Myers Trailer Park.

She was a lifelong member of the Kerr's Creek Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are one son and caregiver, Dwight Myers of Lexington; a daughter, Karen (Myers) LaFon and her husband, Danny LaFon of Raphine; two grandchildren: Laurie (Myers) Riley and her husband, David Riley of Stuart's Draft; and Christina (LaFon) Harrison and her husband "H. Surviving also are five great grandchildren: David Ian and Colton Jones and Dayanara Riley of Stuart's Draft, Virginia; also, Aiesha and Aiden Harrison of Raphine. She is also survived by a sister, Maxine J. Chittum of Staunton and one brother, Harvey F. Chittum Jr. and his wife, Cicely "Sandy" (Kemp) Chittum of Lexington; and one nephew, Robert W. Chittum, also of Lexington.

She also leaves behind one very special "adopted son" and caregiver, George Manspile of Lexington, along with many cousins, friends and acquaintances, including one very special cousin, Tommy Chittum (of Newport Richey, Florida), whose birthday and hers were the same day.

Funeral services will be held on Monday the 26th of March at 11 a.m. at the Kerr's Creek Baptist Church west of Lexington on old state route 60 (Rt. 850). Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family night will be on Sunday, March 25th from 4-6 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory in Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margery's name to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, 129 S. Randolph St., P. O. Box 948, Lexington, Virginia (463-1848).

All arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory at 714 South Main Street in Lexington.
