Obituary for James Allen (Buck) Coleman James Allen (Buck) Coleman
Roanoke Resident Was Lexington Area Native

James Allen (Buck) Coleman, 54, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007.

He was born October 5, 1952 in Lexington, a son of Lois Wilkerson Coleman of Vesuvius and the late James Dolphus Coleman.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce A. Coleman and a grandson, Christopher B. Coleman.

He is survived by three sons: Joey A. Coleman of Buena Vista; Joshua A. Coleman and Jacob A. Coleman, both of Roanoke; four sisters: Betty F. Tyree, Jane C. Wood, both of Vesuvius; Regina C. Clark of Buena Vista; Linda C. McCoy of Mt. Solon; and two grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, and a special companion.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ben Sanders and Dr. Wyatt Mays officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
