Rodney Walker Gardner, 73, of Roanoke and a native of Buena Vista, died March 26, 2007 in Roanoke.
Born February 16, 1934 in Charlottesville, he was the son of the late Charles Walker and Annie Mae Bowen Gardner.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Cassidy Gardner of Roanoke; two daughters: Melinda Hostetter and Eric Gardner of Natural Bridge; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters: Jean Baber of Mt. Holly, North Carolina; and Norma Watson; and a brother, Glen Gardner of Buena Vista.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at the Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Joe Grooten officiating.
The Lomax Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
