Obituary for Margaret Marie Tyree Hostetter Margaret Marie Tyree Hostetter
County Native Was Homemaker

Margaret Marie Tyree Hostetter, 78, of Tempe, Arizona, formerly of Lexington, died Friday, April 13, 2007 in Tempe, Arizona.

Mrs. Hostetter was born on May 20, 1929 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Finley and Florence Jane Pultz Tyree.

She attended the Twin Butte Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona and the Kerrs Creek Baptist Church while living in Lexington.

Mrs. Hostetter was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hostetter was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Franklin Hostetter and a brother, Robert Tyree.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Hostetter and his wife, Kathy of Kerrs Creek and Larry Hostetter and his wife, Brenda R. of Hackens; a daughter, Carol Jean Floyd of Tempe, Arizona; a brother, Emmett Tyree of Kerrs Creek; a sister, Della Elizabeth Mills of Tempe, Arizona; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one step grandchild also survive.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007 in the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel by the Pastor Michael Wilburn. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
