Ethel Zollman Higgins Fisher, 76, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.
She was born December 25, 1930 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late George W. Sweet and Ethel Zollman Sweet.
She was retired from Burlington Industries as a lab technician after 31 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Tomlin and one grandson, both of Buena Vista.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Clark officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Buena Vista Fire Department, the Buena Vista Rescue Squad or the Rockbridge Area Hospice.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
