Thelma F. Allen, 66, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 1, 1941 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Jack Allen and Lena Wheeler Allen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Beckner and three brothers.
She is survived by one son, Charles Edward Buckner, Buchanan; three sisters: Marian Lineberry, Buena Vista; Velma Chittum, Vesuvius; and Lucille Higgins, Dickinson, TX.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens, Lexington.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista.
