Obituary for Daniel Tetlow, Jr., Daniel Tetlow, Jr.,
Was Former Owner Of Tetlow TV Service

Daniel Tetlow, Jr., 85 of Salem and formerly of Florida and Lexington, VA passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007.

He was born in Roanoke, VA son of the late Daniel Tetlow, Sr. and Maude Smith Tetlow.

He was also preceded in death by an infant brother.

Mr. Tetlow was the retired owner-operator of the Tetlow TV Service in Lexington, was a former member of Manly Memorial Baptist Church, Lexington Kiwanis Club, the American Legion, the Lexington Board of Zoning Appeals and was a US Air Force Veteran, having served in World War II and the Korean War.

His surviving family includes his wife of 59 years, Virginia Deaver Tetlow; two sons, Daniel Tetlow, III and wife, Mildred of Roanoke and David C. Tetlow of Richmond; and two grandchildren, Emily T. Sprinkle and husband, Brian of Marion and Courtney Tetlow Roanoke.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Brent Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour following the service. Online condolences may be made at www.johnmoakey.com
