Mildred Mason Truslow, 83, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born May 27, 1923 in Buena Vista, a daughter of the late Jacob Mason and Rose Montgomery Mason.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Truslow.

Mrs. Truslow was a retired nurse with 20 years of experience at the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She is survived by two daughters: Jeanette Cash and husband, Oakie and Dottie Barger of Buena Vista; two sons: Roger Truslow of Salem and David Truslow and wife, Virginia of Buena Vista; one brother, Melvin Mason of Buena Vista; fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
