Obituary for John Hansbrough Hannah John Hansbrough Hannah
Master Electrician, Carpenter, Was Air Force Veteran

John Hansbrough (Jack) Hannah, 76, of Natural Bridge Station, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lynn Hannah; his wife of 49 years, Ruby Hannah and his daughter, Kelly Hannah Blackburn.

He is survived by his sister, Thelma Walden of Colonial Heights; a son, Michael Hannah of Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Eric Ferguson of Buchanan; two grandchildren: Erica and Adam Ferguson of Buchanan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Doug and Janet Lawson; nephew, Scott Hannah and wife, Becky; niece, Cathy Durham and husband, Ted; special friends: Martha Ramer, Richard Pryor, Charles Landes and Henry Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a service veteran of the Air Force, after which he had a long and distinguished career as a master electrician and carpenter.

John (Jack) loved fishing, gardening, music and most of all his love for God. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA Hospital or the Virginia Veterans Care Center.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Arnold's Valley Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Conald Fogus and the Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Burial was private. There was no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements were handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
