David Lynn Schrader, of Rockbridge County, Virginia, passed away on June 9, 2007.

He was the son of the Rev. Albert J. Schrader of Richmond, Virginia and the late Mary Nadine Jobe Schrader; brother of John A. Schrader of Lynchburg and Ann J. Schrader of Lexington, Virginia; and grandson of the late Albert D. and Beulah Schrader of Pittsburgh, PA and the late Cecero and Odell Jobe of Mebane, NC.

David was born in Washington, DC on January 28, 1952.

He was a graduate of the former Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music.

He was a long time employee of the former Stonewall Jackson Hospital as an X-ray technician.

David was an avid musician with various local bands throughout the Shenandoah Valley.

He will be missed by his loving family, friends, and fellow musicians.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery officiated by the Rev. William Thomas.
