Donald Ray "Donnie" Watkins, 52, of Natural Bridge Station, died Monday, July 16, 2007.

He was born August 23, 1954 in Lexington, a son of the late Earl Stanley Watkins and Edith Hill Watkins.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda W. Watkins; five children: Donald Watkins, Jr. of Lexington; Travis Watkins of Glasgow; Brittany Watkins and Ashley Watkins of Lynchburg; Leanette Moore of Rockbridge Baths; two step-children: Teresa White of Natural Bridge and Jeff Dorey of Buena Vista; five grandchildren; two brothers: Ronnie Watkins of Vinton and Gary Watkins of Buena Vista; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Keith Dameron of Natural Bridge.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Pentecostal Outreach Church with Pastor Larry Clark and Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
