Obituary for Ralph "Wayne" Hall Ralph "Wayne" Hall
Vietnam Veteran Was Professional Driver For Over 30 Years

Ralph Wayne Hall peacefully went to Heaven Saturday August 18th, 2007 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born September 8, 1948 and was the beloved son of Daisy (Clark) Hall of Raphine and the late Ralph Eugene "Gene" Hall.

Ralph is survived by his mother Daisy, his daughter, Stephanie Hall Vita and son-in-law, Anthony Vita, of Roanoke; a granddaughter, Victoria A. Vita; his sister and brother-in-law Wanda (Hall) Butler and Bob Butler of Vesuivus, VA; several nieces and nephews and a number of friends located throughout the United States.

Ralph was a professional driver for over 30 years, ending his career in 2005 with New Century Transportation of New Jersey. A Vietnam veteran, he also worked for the Department of Defense in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as part of the 199th Light Infantry Brigade, known as the "Redcatchers".

A memorial service celebrating his life was held Monday at Magnolia Avenue Baptist Church, Buena Vista, VA.
