Obituary for Carl McDonald "Mac" Snider Carl McDonald "Mac" Snider
Worked With Wilson Trucking For 35 Years

Carl McDonald "Mac" Snider, age 66, of Roanoke, formerly of Rockbridge County, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born December 17, 1940 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Carl Davis Snider and Mary McCurdy Snider.

Mr. Snider was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and was retired from Wilson Trucking with 35 years of service.

Surviving are two sons: Todd K. Snider of Lexington and Timothy A. Snider of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Burner and husband, Joseph, of Stuarts Draft.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Beardon and Rev. Greg Fleshman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mac was a loving father, brother, and friend who was loved and will be missed by all. Contributions may be made to the Rockbridge Baths Volunteer Fire Department. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
