Obituary for Junior Wilson Earhart Junior Wilson Earhart
Raphine Resident Was Retired From Lexington Hardware

Junior Wilson Earhart, 80 of Raphine, died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Bor July 18, 1927 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Lyle Earhart and Flossie Gordon Earhart.

Mr. Earhart was a member of the Fairfield United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Clemmer Earhart.

Mr. Earhart was retired from Lexington Hardware and worked for many years after retirement for the Harrison Funeral Home.

Surviving are his children: Norma Jean Earhart and Larry G. Earhart, both of Raphine; Kathy Marci, Norman, Oklahoma; Jennifer Reese, Greenville; and eight grandchildren: Kim Edwards, Kelly Watkins, Kodi Burner, Helen Powers, Tim Marci, Megan Gilmer, Shane Tomlin and Nikki Reese and two great grandchildren, Lucas Edwards and Hannah Gilmer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dale Forbes and Rev. Bill Bearden officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Edwards, Shawn Watkins, Jeremey Burner, Ray Clemmer, Richard Grant, and Doug Burner. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Marci, Donald Reese, Leo Clemmer, Wayne Reese, Joey Dudley, Donald Firebaugh, G.D. Clemmer and David Lee Runkle.

The family suggests that contributions may be made to the Walkers Creek First Responders, Middlebrook, Va. 24459, or the Calvary Baptist Church, 1861 Chestnut Ave., Buena Vista, Virginia 24416. Visitation will beon Tuesday, September 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
