Homemaker Was Collierstown Presbyterian Church Member

Georgia Virginia Bane Clark, 92, of Lexington, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at her home.

She was born July 22, 1915 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Lee Gratton Bane and Margaret G. Brads Bane.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Taft Clark, Sr.; a son, Frederick S. Clark; two brothers: David Bane and Boyd Bane; and two sisters: Margie Hostetter and Polly Bane.

Mrs. Clark was a member of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Doreen C. Horn and husband, Kenneth; three sons: Jonathan W. Clark, Marvin A. Clark and Cecil T. Clark, Jr. and wife, Rebecca; one brother, Hugh T. Bane; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, all of Lexington.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Daniel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
