Obituary for Kathleen T. Coleman Kathleen T. Coleman
She Was A Member Of The Harriston United Methodist Church

Kathleen Thompson Coleman, 82, a resident of Mount Crawford, and formerly of Harriston, died on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at her home.

She was born in Rockbridge County on September 22, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Estill William and Roxie Kennedy Thompson.

Mrs. Coleman attended Rockbridge County Schools and was a member of the Harriston United Methodist Church. She was employed at Morton's Frozen Foods in Crozet, Waynesboro Furniture Factory, and was a housekeeper at Rockingham Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1988.

On May 19, 1944, she married Leonard Coleman, who preceded her in death in December 1990.

She is survived by four sisters, Margaret Runkla of Gordonsville, Helen Waybright of Staunton, Peggy Tyree of Lexington and Pauline Booth of Crimora; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September. 28, 2007, at the chapel of Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave, with the Revs. Durwood Cowan and Carl Steward officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
