Peter Dameron Stearns, 1, of Lexington, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007.

He was born September 15, 2006 at the Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville, a son of Peter Garrett Stearns and Tanya Elaine Young.

Although his life was so short, he brought much happiness to everyone around him. Now he is playing with the Heavenly angels.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Christian Bane, 9, of Lynchburg and Jacob W. Stearns, 7, of Buena Vista; two sisters: Danielle J. Young, 11, of Natural Bridge and Chloe A. Stearns, 2 of Lexington; maternal grandparents: Virginia Y. Johnson of Lynchburg and William R. Young of Sun City, Arizona; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Stearns of Lexington.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Sherrard and the Rev. Donnie Coleman officiating.
