Worked With Reeves Brothers For 25 Years

Julia Kathryn Davidson Hylton, 93, of Buena Vista, went to her Heavenly home Monday, October 22, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born October 3, 1914 in Bluefield, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Addison Crockett and Alyce Jane Davidson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Walter Hylton; nine brothers: Henry, Samuel, Fred, Harry, Buck, Powell, Joe, Charlie and Bill Davidson; and a sister, Callie D. Shelton.

Mrs. Hylton was a member of the Stone Church of the Brethren and was retired from Reeves Brothers with 25 years of service.

She is survived by two daughters and one son: Sandra Jane Hatcher and Roy, Fredericktown, OH; Judy Addison Lawhorne and Ernest, Lexington; and Chris Daniel Hylton and Gail, Fredricksburg, Va; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rick Ramsey and Rev. Josh Jacobs. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke, Va., with her grandson, Rev. Timothy Mathia performing the commital service.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
