Susan Fay Figgatt, 44, of Lexington, died Saturday, November 17, 2007.

She was born October 16, 1963 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of Harry Henry Newell, Jr. and Dorothy Martin Newell.

She was a member of the Collierstown Baptist Church where she was active with the AWANA Club.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Eric E. Figgatt; two children: Jeff Emore and Katia Figgatt, Lexington; one step-child, Stephanie Figgatt, Grottoes; her mother-in-law, Becky Figgatt, Lexington; three step-grandchildren: Rebecca, Bryce, and Dillon; numerous aunts, uncles, special friends and her very special feline friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Collierstown Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Short officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
