Obituary for Charles Edward Weber Charles Edward Weber
Worked With Grumman Corportion For 29 Years

Charles Edward Weber, 70, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born March 1, 1937 in Brookly, New York, a son of the late Carl and Agnes Weber.

He was a metrology engineer with Grumman Corporation for twenty-nine years.

He was a member of the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was an active member of the Blue Ridge Shooters' Club, as well as a lifetime member of the NRA.

Mr Weber is survived by his beloved wife, Madeline Louise Weber, whom he married October 11, 1959; three daughters: Madeline L. Sharrock and husband, Peter, Central Islip, NY; Anne C. DeFranza and husband, Thomas, Oceanside, NY; Janice M. Plumley and husband, Jeremiah, Camden, NY: two sisters: Marie von Bargen, Brewster, NY; and Alma de Grasse, Lexington, VA; one brother, Fred Weber, Westampton, NJ; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Gardens Mausoleum. At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund, Good Shepherd Evangelical Church, P. O. Box 1031, Lexington, VA 24450. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. and from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2007 with a prayer service at 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
