Trinity United Methodist Church Member Succumbs At 87

Dorothy Brinser Williams, 87, of Lexington, died Monday, November 26, 2007 in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

She was born June 14, 1920 in Richmond, a daughter of the late Paul Wesley Brinser and Lorene Moody Brinser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Horace Williams, Jr.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Boyd Horace "Chuck" Williams, III of Florida; a daughter, Nancy W. McCormick, Lexington; a sister, Ellen Abrams, Richmond; a brother, Paul Wesley Brinser, Jr., Richmond; two grandchildren: Brooke McCormick, Charlotte, NC and Brandon McCormick, Mocksville, NC.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with Dr. Louis Hodges officiating. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lexington Life Saving Crew, P. O. Box 957, Lexington, Virginia 24450.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
