Obituary for Jimmy Ray Hostetter Jimmy Ray Hostetter
West Virginia Native Dies At Age 72

Jimmy Ray Hostetter, 72, of Lexington, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at his home.

He was born April 22, 1935 in Dehue, West Virginia, a son of the late Oakey Richard and Cora Biggs Hostetter.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hostetter was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Wayne Hostetter; three brothers: Don, Gene and Ora Hostetter; two grandsons and a great grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Aileen S. Hostetter; a son, Jimmy "Ray" Hostetter, Jr.; three daughters: Kathy Hostetter, Shelia Lineberry and Sharon Conner and husband, Johnny; three sisters: Ruth Smith, Betty Lilly, and Agnes Reynolds; three brothers: Pete Hostetter, Jeff Hostetter, and J. D. Hostetter and wife, Bob; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bud Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen ARP Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
