Obituary for Thomas Lee Mohler Thomas Lee Mohler
Woodworker, Farmer Retired From Patterson Equipment Co.

Thomas Lee Mohler, 87, of Rockbridge Baths, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

He was born January 22, 1920 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Thomas McClung and Gertrude Lee Tolley Mohler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry McClung Mohler.

Mr. Mohler was retired from Patterson Equipment Company.

He loved woodworking and farming for many years.

He was faithful to his church and fought a long fight with leukemia.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Nellie Wade Mohler; two nieces: Joyce Mohler Little and husband, J. W. and Betty Mohler Swisher and husband, Reid; two great nephews: Joseph G. Little and Ben M. Swisher and wife, Margaret; a great niece, Joanie Little DeGoosh and husband, Ron; a great great nephew, Kirk Swisher III; a great great niece, Madeline Grace Swisher; a very special long-time friend, Frances Swisher Cline; and the loving members of her family.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rockbridge Baths. Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Mohler, Odie Mohler, Kenny Mohler, Bub Mohler, and George Mohler.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Ebenezer United Methodist Church or the Rockbridge Area Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, VA. 24450.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
