Alma Cash Barney, 89, of Colonial Heights, died Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Virginia.

Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late R. F. and Mary Watkins Cash.

Mrs. Barney was a member of Beth Horn Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Blaine W. Barney; nieces: Janet Tomlin of Buena Vista, Sandy Thacker of Salem, Irish Cash Davis of Elkton; a sister, Frances Driscoll of Buena Vista; and a sister-in-law, Beulah Cash of Elkton.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Reverend Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating.

Committal services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, in Glasgow Cemetery, Glasgow, Va.
