Albert Stoner Parks, 82, of Natural Bridge Station, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at his residence.

He was born November 19, 1925 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late William G. Parks and Eva Stoner Parks.

He was a member of the Cave Mountain Lake Church of God, and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was retired from Burlington Industries.

Mr. Parks is survived by his wife, Florence Powell Parks; two daughters: Norma Austin and Nancy Powell; a son, Albert Powell, all of Natural Bridge Station; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
