David Junior Dooley, 87, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, March 9, 2008.
Mr. Dooley was born April 2, 1920 in Bedford County, a son of the late Nina Dooley.
He was a retired, self-employed painter. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Boyd Walker of Glasgow; a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Luella Dooley of Buena Vista; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral chapel with the Rev. Donald J. Thorne officiating. Burial will follow in the Glasgow Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Buena Vista First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
