Jerry Lane Teague, 66, of Rockbridge Baths, died Monday, March 10, 2008.

He was born August 10, 1941 in North Carolina, a son of the late George Byron and Lula Houser Teague.

He was a member of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia B. Teague; a daughter, Sherry T. Carpenter and husband, John, of Indiana; two sons: Byron A. Teague and wife, Lori, of Fairfield; and Thomas L. Teague, of Rockbridge Baths; siblings: Molly Harris, George Teague, and Terry Teague, all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at the McElwee Chapel with Rev. Malcolm Brownlee officiating. Burial will follow in the McElwee Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Rockbridge Baths Fire Department or the Rockbridge Area Hospice. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
