Melvin Lynn Fox, 51, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008.

He was born December 22, 1956 in Rockbridge County, a son of Wallace Herbert and Virginia McCormick Fox.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Wayne Fox.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Rita Fox Whitfield and husband, John, of Staunton; one niece and one nephew.

Services and burial will be private.

There will be no private visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Virginia.
